This morning, China's XINHUA agency and Chinese dailies report about the execution of former North Korean strongman Chang Sung-taek.

朝鲜判处张成泽死刑并已执行 称其承认谋图政变

North Korea sentenced to death Chang Sung-taek and executed [the death penalty] thereafter, saying he had admitted plannings for a coup d'état.


Alternative translation:
When North Korea sentenced to death Chang Sung-taek, it stopped the execution of plannings for a coup d'état which he had [allegedly] admitted.

[The difference between both translations is in a small space between two Chinese characters !]


死刑立即被执行。 The death penalty was executed immediately.
