The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassim, issued a statement regarding the «Framework Agreement between the Lebanese authority and the Zionist enemy entity, in which he considered that the agreement represents » humiliation, disgrace, and a waiver of sovereignty, calling for the implementation of the provisions of the Iranian-American memorandum of understanding, and obliging the Israeli enemy to cease fire and withdraw from Lebanese territory.

The first paragraph of the memorandum of understanding stated: "The United States, Iran, and their allies in the ongoing war, by signing this memorandum of understanding, declare an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, and pledge from now on not to initiate any war." A joint meeting of the heads of the executive, legislative and judicial authorities in Iran was held today, chaired by the President of the Republic and hosted by the Presidency. Tasnim International News Agency reported that the meeting brought together President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, and the head of the Islamic Shura Council, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed the latest developments, files and issues related to internal affairs, and also reviewed the most prominent national developments and ways to deal with them within the framework of coordination between the three authorities. [Tasnim on June 27]

Tasnim International News Agency reported that the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters announced in a statement that the movements and presence of military aircraft belonging to the terrorist Zionist entity’s army, in the airspace of some neighboring countries towards Iran, are considered a dangerous act and a threat directed against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

It stressed that if America is not able to restrain the Zionist entity and control its actions, it will not tolerate any threat targeting it, and considers responding to these dangerous measures a legitimate right for it. [Tasnim on June 26]

Mossad spokesman acknowledges Iran's drone power

It looks as if US president Trump, despite some second thoughts he might have for the future after US Midterm Elections, is decided to come to terms with Iran for the time being.

A ceasefire in Lebanon, which has been an Iranian prerequisite for signing an agreement of mutual understanding with the US side, has not come into effect until June 19. No wonder Iran has cancelled a first round of talks to begin that day.

Thereupon US vice-president Vance scolded Israel in an interview with the New York Times:

What seems to be sure is the firm will of both sides to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to international maritime trffic, including the US accepting shipments of Iranian oil. And there has to be an unfreezing of some Iranian assets, earlier frozen in the frame of international sanctions. Up to the end, the latter point has always made an essential requirement of the Iranian side to reach a deal whatsoever. This might include unfreezing of assets held back by the US and/or regional powers like the Emirates. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Friday the terms of dealing with Iran’s nuclear program would be finalized in the 60 days after the initial agreement is signed and that the parties could decide to extend that period (!). The U.S. and Israel fear Iran’s nuclear program could lead to an atomic weapon — a main reason their leaders cited for going to war. Tehran has insisted its nuclear program is peaceful, though the country has enough highly enriched uranium to build several atomic bombs, should it choose to do so. In the morning of June 13, an Arabic writer and book author, connected with the media and engaged in politics, published the following comment on the actual situation: Urgent: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi: ( -Ending the war means the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the occupied Lebanon territories, and we have made that clear frankly - If the opposing side does not fulfill its commitments within the 60 days, negotiations on the remaining issues will not proceed..)
