Iran launched the 41st wave of strikes under Operation True Promise 4, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, targeting sites in Tel Aviv, southern Israel and U.S. military positions across the Middle East. Iranian statements say the barrage included Khorramshahr missiles, Qadr missiles and hypersonic Fattah missiles along with kamikaze drones aimed at bases such as Palmachim Airbase and Ovda Airbase. The escalation comes as Iranian media report that Deputy Intelligence Minister Akbar Ghaffari was killed in recent Israeli-U.S. strikes. Tehran says the latest wave commemorates “Ramadan war martyrs” as tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States continue to escalate.
