Israeli Attack on Iran هجوم إسرائيلي على إيران
First Arabic voices, published on the Facebook account of an Arabic TV station
at the time of attack, siding with a map of Iran showing most possible targets.
Early on Friday, Israel launched a series of wide-ranging strikes on nuclear and military sites in Iran, killing prominent military leaders. While Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei vowed a "bitter and painful fate" for Tel Aviv, Washington denied its involvement in the strikes.
These strikes came two days before a new round of talks on the nuclear file was scheduled between Tehran and Washington in Muscat, Oman.
The full extent of the attacks and the damage they caused was not immediately clear, but the strikes raised fears that the conflict could escalate into a full-scale war between the region's two most powerful armies.
And here are some key points to understand the situation:
Israel began its first attacks at 3:30 AM local time in Iran (1:00 GMT), targeting nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and military leaders. The Israeli military said this was the beginning of a prolonged operation to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.
Iranian media and witnesses reported explosions, including at the main Natanz uranium enrichment facility, while Israel declared a state of emergency in anticipation of a retaliatory Iranian strike with missiles and drones.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iranian media announced the deaths of several leaders and scientists in the Israeli attack, including IRGC commander Hossein Salami, Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri, commander of the Imam Hossein Military Base Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, and several nuclear scientists.

Situation report on June 13 at 10:30 AM:
Damages have been recorded at Tehran, Tabris
and the uranium enrichment facility of Natanz.
The TV report seems to be delivered from Amman,
Jordan, where the sky is under observation
for Iranian drones and missiles, some of which
have been reportedly downed by the Jordanian
Air Force before being able to reach the Israeli
airspace in an operation of retaliation for the
Israeli attack that took place only days before
planned talks between Iran and Arabic mediators.
