Breaking Update on July 6:
Massive Ukrainian Counterattack on Russian Military Targets
...........................
Poland's foreign minister says Vladimir Putin is making a mockery of Donald Trump's efforts to make peace in Ukraine. It comes as Volodymyr Zelenskyy hit out at Russia for its "cynical" overnight attack.
Russia launched its biggest overnight aerial attack of the war so far, with Ukraine's air force saying a combined 550 drones and missiles were fired at the country.
Kyiv was under an all-night attack, injuring at least 23 people, damaging railway infrastructure and sparking fires across Ukraine's capital, authorities said.
Russia said its forces successfully carried out strikes against military targets in the city.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the "cynical" attack began "almost simultaneously" with the start of yesterday's phone call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

According to the German Federal Intelligence Service and two Dutch intelligence agencies, Russia is increasing its use of chemical weapons in Ukraine.
"The use of tear gas and chloropicrin by Russian troops has now become standard practice and is widespread," the German foreign intelligence agency and the Dutch military intelligence agencies MIVD and AIVD jointly reported.
Russia is thus violating the Chemical Weapons Convention, which aims to achieve a global ban on such weapons.

After one of Ukraine's darkest nights, China announced its readyness to come about with an own proposal to end the bloodshed in Ukraine. China, more interested in doing profitable business than in fostering military conflict as long as it doesn't touch the question of Taiwan, might have something to lure Putin and Zelenskyj into an agreement. Every time Satan tempts you to sympathize with Iran, remember what that made in:
The accompanying comment on X where I found the above picture is treating Iran and Israel as equally evil for having incited war in the whole region.
Each of them in their own way: Iran by practising some kind of extreme Islam, that has even been exaggerated by the terrorism of the Islamic State (Daesh or ISIL) founded in Mosul, Iraq. Mosul then became a bombing target during the multinational fight against Daesh. Aleppo and Homs in Syria were partly destroyed during the civil war in Syria and which was directed against Basher al-Assad whose allies, Iran and Russia, helped him to survive until 2025.
On the contrary, Lebanon hosting the pro-Iranian Hezbollah ("Party of Allah") and Yemen using Iranian weapons in their pro-Palestinian fight against Israel became bombing targets of Israel. The continued war on Palestinians in Gaza and related hostilities between Jewish and Palestinian settlers in the Westbank of river Jordan not to mention.
As to the US who volunteered to lend a hand in the bombing of Iran's nucler facilities and of Daesh in Iraq and Syria, they are not specially mentioned, I think for tactical reasons. In fact, the place where the quoted X report came from is located in the Gulf states where they are used to make business with anybody, and where they like business partners serving their local interests when it comes to the US opposition towards Iran's nuclear program.
As we all know, Satan can approach in any disguise, as an innocent looking corrupt war-monger, as a bearded doctrinal cleric or as an ill-tempered clown lacking proper education. I think, Steven Spielberg has all archetypes in his movies.

The US strike on Iran between Netanyahu's madness and Trump's tricks
In conclusion, we emphasize that President Trump may have succeeded at the present time in gaining the upper hand in the political and military arena with regard to Iran and striking its nuclear reactors, but in reality, Iran still has many political cards and military capabilities to prolong the conflict between it and Israel, which [Israel] will not be able to bear, nor will America be able to stand by it in every future adventure or risk. It is ignorance and unrealistic to think that the preemptive strikes of the Zionist-American alliance will bring to its knees a country with a population of 90 million, a resistant mindset, and a heritage that spans thousands of years.

Despite their opposition to Netanyahu, Israelis support attacks on Iran.
A number of Israelis who oppose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed their support for the attacks his government launched against Iran, despite their political opposition to him.
In an interview with Anadolu [Turkish news agency], Dobi Tadiber, a Tel Aviv resident, said that he does not support Netanyahu's political path, but he supports his 12-day attacks on Iran.
He added, "I hate Netanyahu, but the best thing he has done so far is attacking Iran. What he did was for the complete security of Israel."
He considered that the ceasefire brokered by US President Donald Trump was timely, describing the Israeli attacks as "legitimate and a lesson for the Iranians".
Tadebir believed that the time had come for Netanyahu's government to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
Ariel, a Tel Aviv resident, explained that the Israeli attacks on Iran were the right decision, despite his reservations about Netanyahu's intentions.
He added to Anadolu, "I don't think Netanyahu made the decision to attack with the sole intention of benefiting Israel, but it was a good decision overall."

In a televised statement on Thursday, he added, "The Zionist entity was shaken by our strikes, and it never imagined that it would receive such devastating blows."
In his above video speech the Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei greeted the people on the occasion of what he called "victory over the artificial Zionist entity," and Khamenei said that America entered the war because it felt that the Zionist entity would be destroyed, but it did not achieve any success with its intervention, he added.

Live: The United States launches an attack on three nuclear facilities in Iran, and Trump describes it as "very successful."
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the US military had carried out a "very successful attack" targeting three Iranian nuclear sites, including the underground Fordow uranium enrichment facility.
Trump explained in a post on his Truth Social platform that the strikes included the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan facilities, noting that "a whole load of bombs" were dropped on the main site at Fordow, and that the aircraft carrying out the operation left Iranian airspace "safely" and were "on their way home".
This escalation comes just two days after he announced that he would make a decision "within two weeks" on joining the Israeli military campaign against Tehran.

International Atomic Energy Agency: We have no relation to the decision to wage war on Iran.
Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told CNN on Thursday [June 19] that the evidence the agency has collected regarding Iran's nuclear program "is difficult to form the basis for any military action".
Grossi added, "Military action, regardless of its source, is a political decision that has nothing to do with what we say".
After Israel launched its first strikes on Iran, it pointed to a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran is enriching uranium at a higher level than other countries that do not have nuclear weapons programs, in violation of its commitments under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
However, Grossi said that there is no indication of a "systematic program in Iran to produce nuclear weapons".
When asked if he was concerned about the possibility of an American strike on the Fordow (*) facility, Grossi replied, "Diplomacy is the way forward". He added, "You can demolish buildings, but you can't destroy technical knowledge".

Early on Friday, Israel launched a series of wide-ranging strikes on nuclear and military sites in Iran, killing prominent military leaders. While Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei vowed a "bitter and painful fate" for Tel Aviv, Washington denied its involvement in the strikes.
These strikes came two days before a new round of talks on the nuclear file was scheduled between Tehran and Washington in Muscat, Oman.
The full extent of the attacks and the damage they caused was not immediately clear, but the strikes raised fears that the conflict could escalate into a full-scale war between the region's two most powerful armies.
And here are some key points to understand the situation:
Israel began its first attacks at 3:30 AM local time in Iran (1:00 GMT), targeting nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and military leaders. The Israeli military said this was the beginning of a prolonged operation to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.
Iranian media and witnesses reported explosions, including at the main Natanz uranium enrichment facility, while Israel declared a state of emergency in anticipation of a retaliatory Iranian strike with missiles and drones.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iranian media announced the deaths of several leaders and scientists in the Israeli attack, including IRGC commander Hossein Salami, Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri, commander of the Imam Hossein Military Base Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, and several nuclear scientists.

One of the Israeli embassy employees killed in Washington, Yaron Lischinsky, had both, an Israeli Diplomatic Passport and German citizenship, said media reports referring to German diplomatic sources.
Yaron Lischinsky was no ordinary diplomat. Born in Nuremberg, Bavaria / Germany, he moved to Israel at 16, embracing Jerusalem as his home while maintaining ties to his birthplace.
He was also a founding member of the DIG Youth Forum and promoted exchange between young Israelis and Germans said Volker Beck, President of the German-Israeli Society (DIG). Lischinsky spoke fluent German.
According to information from the Evangelical Press Service (epd), Lischinsky attended the Heinrich Schliemann High School in Fürth for a time.
In an X post, Shoval Ronen said that he taught Lischinsky at the Argaman Institute in Jerusalem, a Conservative Jewish Highschool of State Leadership, saying he was "a Christian, a great lover of Israel, who immigrated to Israel, served in the army, and decided to dedicate his life to the State of Israel and Zionism."
After working for Israel's Ministry of the Interior, Lischinsky came to Washington DC in 2022 and worked as a researcher on Middle Eastern & North African affairs at the Israeli Embassy. His work for the embassy included maintaining contact with foreign diplomatic delegations & NGOs, as well as organising delegation visits to Washington for different Israeli government units.
Ron Prosor, Israel's current ambassador to Germany, said he knew him from Israel's (Institute for Diplomatic Formation).
Sarah Milgrim, Lischinsky's girlfriend and second victim of the shooting, were just leaving the Reception for Jewish Diplomats of the Jewish committee (AJC) at the Jewish Museum together with two other participants, when Elias Rodriguez, a leftist activist & supporter of Palestine from Chicago, approached the group and emptied the magazine of his weapon (21 balls) on his victims. On May 7, India's air raid on nine 'terrorist' targets in Pakistan was reported by Indian media as having succeeded without own losses. A Chinese source near to the Pakistani military, however, underlined the downing of three Indian Rafale fighters and two other military jets on the Indian side.
Only one day later, another Chinese source on the X platform came with deeper knowledge about Chinese support of the Pakistani forces. It becomes clear that there is more behind the regional conflict between two nuclear powers.
Related Chinese opinion published on X on May 8, 2025:
Pakistan's foreign minister said that the Rafale [planes] were indeed shot down by [Chinese] J-10C, and that they could have shot down 15, but they refrained from doing so because they were concerned that India would suffer too much damage. So they just shot down three [of them].
This air combat victory is of great significance to the CCP [Chinese Communists Party], as the military's modernization has progressed rapidly over the years, but the real-world effectiveness of its weapons remains unknown. This victory should provide a real-world test of its effectiveness.
The radar and PL-15 missiles on the CCP's J-10 aircraft are no longer inferior to those in the world. The issue is that this is still the export model of the CCP, while they [already] have the fifth-generation J-20 and J-35 at hand.
The world landscape should be assessed based on this reality in the future.
For example, when we speak about Taiwan.
Additional information on May 9:
U.S. officials confirmed that Pakistan used a Chinese-made J-10 fighter jet to shoot down at least two Indian military aircraft on the 7th, marking an important milestone for China's advanced fighter jets. The producer of J-10, AVIC Aircraft, continued to open high at 5.8% on May 9, rising more than 30% in two days, with the stock price reaching a new high since November last year. On May 8, AVIC Aircraft released an announcement stating that the cumulative deviation of the closing price of the company's stock from the previous trading day's closing price over the past two trading days exceeded 30%, which is considered an abnormal fluctuation in stock trading.
Other Chinese stock market military industries, which are highly sensitive to geopolitical tensions, have continued to rise recently, with the CSI Defense Index rising 0.3% on Friday, after a four-day streak of gains.

Unlike the guidance head and nearly complete missile wreckage found earlier, this wreckage is well-preserved due to its different location.
During his first time in office, president Trump already declared his intention to get back from China the jobs they "stole" from the US. Now, in his second term he feels strong enough to trigger a war on tariffs to create jobs for the American nuts who voted for him, hoping for a well-paid job that would not require too much brains. He therefore follows a binary strategy:
- First, he surrounded himself with inadequate advisors like Musk or Robert Kennedy jr and launched an incredible attack on the education system of the US, all that to make his followers believe: "I am one of you, like nobody else !", and to shrug off the white-collar guys with their Harvard exam.
- Second, he started his blackmail campaign of raising trade tariffs that are targeting each and every nation, but especially China, to get anything he wants from them. His real intention is to get back the "American Dream" that once had been sold to poor Chinese workers by prospering US enterprises in an outsourcing campaign serving their shareholder value.
Now that these people, whose parents barely survived the Cultural Revolution, successfully made something great of their new opportunities under a less restrictive economic policy, Trump and his accomplices are grabbing at their new "Chinese Dream" of getting a fair outcome from hard work. And this time it's no longer about the manufacturing of cheap plastic parts for the US market, but as well about the production of quality steel, fine cars and cell phones.
The breeding-ground of Trump's MAGA movement.
